Family Gatherings Project - ʔuušʼtikmł (ooshta kimth)
The Family Gatherings Project will take place form November 2011 to March 2012.families who partipate in this program with become part of "family groups"or ʔuuš’takimł. Each ʔuuš’takimł will work together with a budget to plan their own weekly recreational and cultural activities.
Share in the wisdom and diversity of First Nations Culture while creating family connections. Find out what activities are available in the community for families and access them at a low cost and in some cases for FREE. Meet new people! Plan together to decide on the best activities for you and your families are. Come together to celebrate our ʔuuš’takimł experiences. Most important, have FUN, EXPERIENCE, PLAY and LAUGH!
