Huu-ay-aht First Nation Paawats - Child and Family Services
The Paawats’ mission is to provide a quality cultural early childhood programming that will enable children and families to achieve their full potential ~ spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically ~ through play education, support and encouragement.
We respect the teachings of our Huu-ay-aht elders and seek to learn Huu-ay-aht language and traditions.
Located at beautiful Pachena Bay, we offer culturally appropriate programming to children aged birth to 12 years old. We provide services to children and families of Anacla and Bamfield.
Services available:
· Multi-aged licensed child care
· Preschool
· Language Nest (Nuu-chah-nulth language)
· Infant Development Program
· Aboriginal Supported Child Care Services
· Family Support Services (this service available to all Huu-ay-aht Families
regardless of location)
· Afterschool clubs
