- Deliver approved health care services through planned home visits, clincis and workshops
- Assist Nuu-chah-nulth members to identify thier own health needs an dtake appropriate action to meet those in needs
- Demostrate care tecniques and methods of disease prevention and rehabilitation
- Control communicable disease in all ages groups by teaching disease prevention methods, conducting immunization clinics, organizing clinics and follow-up, and counseling on sexula transmitted diseases and other reportable communicable diseases
- Monitor school age children through assessment and screening clinics and early intervention for identified health problems
- Encourage healthy lifestyles by assisting other staff with health promotion activities
The NTC Nursing program provides cultrally intergrated, easily accessiable quality care by competent professional staff.
